Language Placement information see 4.35 Placement in Language Courses.

The Minor in Chinese is regulated by the section of the Faculty of Arts Graduation Requirements entitled 3.3.3 Minor Programs.

Students must complete a minimum of 30 units to a maximum of 36 units in �쏞hinese Language�� and �쏞hinese Studies�� courses (see Courses Constituting the Field of East Asian Language Studies).

Subject to School of Languages, Linguistics, Literatures and Cultures approval, a maximum of 6 units from Chinese Studies in a different discipline may be credited towards the major field.
